Objectives

Hy.CoMM focuses primarily on the development of a hydrogen-powered prototype vehicle for displaying the requirements of use of construction and mining vehicles in real testing scenarios in harsh environmental conditions. Expected findings of the project will play a key role in the scalability of the technology for stakeholders from industry, suppliers as well as academic institutions. The focus on the infrastructure side is to ensure reliable refueling of the vehicle prototype and to build up experience regarding daily use under harsh operating conditions. The project will pave the way for future guideline development for operating hydrogen-powered vehicles in construction and mining applications.
